“Net U.S. corn export sales for the week ended Sept. 4 came in at 67.3 million bushels, compared with trade expectations that ran 35.5-67 million bushels and the previous week’s net sales of 72.2 million bushels. But the weekly total included only 21.7 million bushels in new sales, along with a carryover of 46 million in undelivered sales from 2024/2025. The new sales data looks negative for corn prices.
“Net weekly U.S. soybean export sales came in at 48.1 million bushels, compared with trade expectations that ran 14.5-37 million bushels, and the previous week’s net sales of 29.2 million bushels. But the weekly sales total included new sales of only 19.9 million bushels, along with a carryover of 28.2 million bushels in undelivered sales from 2024/2025. China remained absent from the export sales report, which on balance looks negative for soybean prices.”
