Continental Farmers Group joins Olam Agri as a standalone business
Olam Agri has signed an agreement for the full integration of Continental Farmers Group (CFG), one of Ukraine’s leading agricultural companies, into its global structure. Continental is currently an indirect subsidiary of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), according to the company’s press service.
Continental Farmers Group is the first asset to be added to Olam Agri’s portfolio after SALIC completed its acquisition of a controlling stake in Olam Agri in April 2026, marking a new phase in the company’s development as a standalone business separate from Olam Group. Following the transaction, SALIC’s stake in Olam Agri will increase from 80.01% to 81.81%.
The company stressed that the agreement will not affect Continental’s day-to-day operations. It will continue to operate as a separate business within Olam Agri, retaining its current management team and strategic direction, while leveraging Olam Agri’s global expertise in trading and risk management.
In addition, Continental Farmers Group CEO Georg von Nolcken will join the Executive Committee of Olam Agri, the company’s highest executive governing body.
Olam Agri co-founder and CEO Sunny Verghese said the integration of Continental Farmers Group significantly strengthens the company’s presence in Ukraine and expands its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe.
Georg von Nolcken, CEO of Continental Farmers Group, said the integration creates new opportunities for business development and long-term strategic growth, while the company maintains its operational independence.
