China purchased more than 800 KMT of Ukrainian corn in June
Ukrainian corn exports since the beginning of the season have totaled 28.5 MMT (-0.2% year-on-year). 1.5 MMT was exported in June (-35% from May and -30% from June 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The top 10 list of the biggest importers remains unchanged. In June, the largest volume – 808 KMT – was exported to China.
The following markets reduced demand in September-June: the EU: -28%, Israel: -20%, Turkey: -17%, Libya: -5%.
All of the other key destinations show growth in purchases compared to the same time last year: Iran: +59%, China: +33%, Algeria: +29%, Egypt: +13%, South Korea: up almost six times.
