China is interested in importing Ukrainian food and feed peas
China is interested in importing Ukrainian peas, the quality and price of which are very attractive to Chinese consumers.
This was announced by Iryna Velychko, First Secretary for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Ukraine in China, during the online event TREND&HEDGE CLUB.
According to her, Ukrainian diplomats spoke with representatives of the relevant association of the PRC after signing an agreement regulating the veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements for supplying peas to the Chinese market.
“The Chinese side expressed interest in both fodder peas and food peas. I think they will be in demand,” noted Iryna Velychko, adding that the Chinese side is ready to import Ukrainian peas due to their high quality.
