Changes in the top five exporters of Ukrainian wheat in August

Ukraine exported 2.24 mln tons of wheat in August.

This was reported by the press service of the UGA.

According to the observations of the Association’s experts, Spain became the leading country in imports of Ukrainian wheat – 492 thsd tonnes of grain were shipped there.

“Interestingly, in August, Indonesia and Vietnam took the 2nd and 3rd place in terms of imports of Ukrainian wheat, pushing Algeria and Egypt to the 4th and 5th places, respectively,” the UGA states.

As a reminder, wheat exports exceeded 4.1 mln tons.
