Brazilian soybean exports in October will amount to almost 6.9 mln tons – Anec
The export of Brazilian soybeans in October may reach 6.88 mln tonnes, up 16% compared to the previous month (5.55 mln tonnes) and 79% compared to the final result for the same period last year (3.59 mln tonnes). This forecast was made by the analysts of the Association of Grain Exporters Anec.
At the same time, the experts do not exclude the possibility of reducing the estimation of oilseed shipments to 6 mln tonnes.
“In the penultimate week of the current month (October 15-21), 1.57 mln tonnes were shipped from Brazilian ports (1.30 mln tonnes – a week earlier),” – the Anec report says.
In addition, the Association expects to export 8.49 mln tonnes of corn against 9.33 mln tonnes in September and 6.17 mln tonnes in October 2022. However, experts say, the forecast of supplies may be reduced to 7.8 mln tonnes.
