Brazil pork prices climb – Cepea
Brazil price averages for pork meat registered significant increases in the wholesale market of the Greater São Paulo in the first half of July, according to a recent market report from Cepea.
Quotations have been rising since the first week of June, with more significant increases in early July. Firm domestic and international demand has driven prices.
As beef quotations moved up and chicken meat values decreased in the accumulated of July, the competitiveness of pork meat dropped against the other meats.
