Brazil may break soybean meal export record
Brazil may set a record for soybean meal exports in 2024, Reuters reported citing industry association Anec.
In January-November, Brazilian meal exports are expected to total 21.12 million tons compared to 22.35 million for the whole of last year. Just over 1.23 million tons need to be exported in December to exceed last year’s figure. Next month’s volumes are likely to be higher, as each month this year has seen exports exceeding that figure each month.
Argentina has traditionally been the world’s largest supplier of soybean meal.
