Bosnia’s Federation wheat harvest down 33.3% in 2023
Bosnia’s Federation has harvested 57,578 tonnes of wheat in 2023, down 33.3% on last year, the entity’s statistical office said.
This year’s rye harvest of 6,497 tonnes is 15.5% lower compared to 2022, the Federation’s statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
An annual decrease of 29.4%, to 21,758 tonnes, was recorded in production of barley, while oat harvest fell 26.6% to 7,619 tonnes.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
