Belarus introduced state regulation of rape and sunflower oil prices
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus introduced state regulation of prices for 26 socially essential goods, including rape and sunflower oils, for 90 days.
Margin limits shall be introduced for these goods in order to determine the amount of profit subject to including in producer’s selling prices, UkrAgroConsult reports.
In addition, the Ministry set a ceiling for the importer markup on socially essential goods (10%) and maximum trade markups (including the wholesale markup) on selling prices of producers (importers).
The prices shall be set based on market conditions, but not higher than the imposed limits.
