Belarus expands the list of grain crops prohibited for export
Belarus has made changes to the ban on the export of grain, introduced for six months in August 2021. The corresponding resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 11 of January 6, 2022 was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
According to the new document, the list of grain crops prohibited for export has been expanded due to crushed grain of wheat, rye and other cereals, as well as other processed grain of wheat, rye and other cereals, as well as sunflower seeds.
In addition, the ban has been canceled in relation to organic grain, confirmed by certificates of conformity.
As previously reported, the government decree No. 482 of August 24, 2021, from August 27, introduced a ban on the export of wheat and meslin, rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, other cereals and rapeseeds from Belarus for six months.
