Belarus. Belneftekhim Concern ceasing biodiesel production

All of Belarus-based Belneftekhim Concern’s plants specialized in making biodiesel fuel will cease its production in 2020. The reason is that it is unprofitable to produce this product, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Belarus began producing biodiesel in 2010. The planted area of rape was increased for this purpose. As a consequence, rapeseed and rape oil production may fall.
