Barley threshing has started in Ukraine
Barley has begun to be harvested by farmers in the south of Mykolaiv Oblast, particularly in areas most affected by spring frosts and drought.
Initial yields of 1–1.5 t/ha are alarmingly low, reflecting the challenging weather conditions this season.
