Bangladesh announces tender for procurement of wheat
Bangladesh Directorate of Food (DGF) will hold an international tender to purchase 50,000 tons of milling wheat on October 22. This is reported by Reuters.
Bangladesh is one of the world’s largest wheat importers. The US Department of Agriculture forecasts that Bangladesh will increase its wheat imports to 6.9 million tons this season, up 0.1 million tons from last season, which ended in June.
