Armenia reduced wheat imports in January-August 2025
In January-August 2025, wheat imports to Armenia decreased to 178,000 tons, compared to 195,600 tons in the same period last year. The value of imports increased from $36.5 million to $43.8 million, according to Zerno On-Line, citing the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
Barley imports in the first eight months of this year amounted to 25,300 tons (30,200 tons in January-August 2024), corn – 41,000 tons (37,400 tons), and rice – 8,500 tons (6,300 tons).
