Arabian Mills expanding flour, feed output

The Arabian Mills for Food Products Co., a leading flour and feed producer for Saudi Arabia, plans to expand its flour and feed production capacity and enhance operations with four projects at its Riyadh and Hail locations with a total investment of SAR 461 million ($122.9 million).
The projects include a new flour mill, new feed mill and new warehouses at Riyadh and upgraded flour mill at Hail, Arabian Mills said in its Oct. 1 announcement. The company said the expansion aligns with its strategy to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s food security and meet growing demand for its products with improved efficiency.
The new flour mill at Riyadh is expected to increase daily production capacity by 800 tonnes to 3,870 tonnes, while the feed mill will see its daily output grow by 400 tonnes to 700 tonnes. The Hail location’s daily flour production will climb from 600 to 750 tonnes.
Construction on the Riyadh projects is slated to begin during the first quarter of 2026 with completion expected during the first quarter of 2028, while the Hail location will begin upgrades during the fourth quarter of 2025 and wrap up by the fourth quarter of 2026.
Arabian Mills said the projects will be financed from the company’s available cash liquidity and Sharia-compliant banking facilities.
These projects are expected to have a positive impact on the company’s financial performance following the commencement of commercial operations at the Riyadh flour and feed mills and the completion of the flour mill upgrade in Hail, Arabian Mills said. The warehouse, meanwhile, is anticipated to boost the company’s strategic and operational performance.
