Another 11 vessels with Ukrainian grain are preparing to pass through the “grain corridor”
On Thursday, September 15, 11 ships loaded with agricultural products are scheduled to leave the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenny. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
It is noted that 9 ships have already left the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk, and two bulkers are waiting for favorable weather conditions in the port “Pivdenny”. In total, 240 thousand tons of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe are loaded on them.
Since the departure of the first ship with Ukrainian food, 3.33 million tons of food have already been exported. A total of 145 ships with grain for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa left Ukrainian ports.
We will remind, in Istanbul on July 22, at the proposal of the United Nations, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres signed the Initiative on the safe transportation of grain and food products from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. The first ship with Ukrainian food left the port of Odessa on August 1.
