Already low flour exports from Kazakhstan fell still more
Kazakhstan exported 138.7 KMT of flour in December, or 21% less than in the previous month and down 40% from December 2018/19, reports UkrAgroConsult.
In total, 594.2 KMT had been exported this season, or 28% less than in the same period in MY 2018/19.
Just nine countries import flour from Kazakhstan this season, but 99.6% of its exports are on account of the five traditional buyers: Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and China.
A year-on-year gain in exports is only observed to the following countries: Tajikistan and Moldova.
All the other buyers decreased purchases.
