Almost all wheat crops in Argentina are in normal or optimal condition
Recent rains in Argentina have improved soil moisture reserves, and almost all of the country’s wheat crops are now in normal or optimal condition, the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange reported on July 31.
“78.7% of grain crops are developing in conditions of sufficient and optimal moisture, and 96.9% are in normal or excellent condition for cultivation,” the analysts said in their weekly report.
Separately, it was reported that the corn harvest in Argentina has been collected by 88%, and the forecast for grain production in the current season has been maintained at 49 million tons.
