Almost 3 million hectares of winter crops sown in Ukraine

Agrarians from all regions of Ukraine are sowing winter crops. As of early October, 2992 thousand hectares have already been sown. Rape – 1,087 thousand hectares, cereals – 1,906 thousand hectares (wheat – 1,743 thousand hectares, barley – 109 thousand hectares, rye – 53.6 thousand hectares).
During the previous week, 764.7 thousand hectares of winter cereals and 49 thousand hectares of winter rape were sown.
Agrarians of Sumy region sowed the most winter cereals – 87% of the forecast.
Sowing of winter rape is being completed in all regions.
