Algeria purchased corn and meal

On November 26, the Algerian state-owned company ONAB held a tender for the purchase of 240 thsd tonnes of feed corn of Argentine or Brazilian origin for shipment on December 5-20, and 70 thsd tonnes of soybean meal of arbitrary origin for shipment from December 20 to January 15. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
At least 40 thsd tonnes of corn and at least 30 thsd tonnes of soybean meal were purchased. The purchase price has not been announced.
