Algeria purchased a large batch of wheat

On March 5, the Algerian state-owned company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of soft wheat with delivery on June 1-15 and 16-30. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
According to preliminary data, about 500 thousand tons of wheat was purchased at a price of $227.75-228 per ton on the C&F basis.
