Algeria held a tender for the purchase of barley
On November 11, the Algerian state-owned company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, Reuters reported.
The purchase volume was not disclosed. The price was $263-$264.50 C&F.
Under the tender terms, the barley will be shipped from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, if it is of European or Black Sea origin. Shipments from South America or Australia will be scheduled one month earlier. Shipments are planned to the ports of Mostaganem and Tenes.
