Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of durum wheat
Algerian state-owned company OAIC has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of durum wheat of any origin, Reuters reports.
Bids for the tender will close on October 15. Bids will be valid until October 16.
Under the tender terms, wheat shipments will take place between November 1-15 and November 16-30 if the wheat originates in Europe or the Black Sea region. For wheat shipments from South America or Australia, the deadline will be extended by one month.
