A.G.R. Group to commission another grain elevator in Sumy region
A.G.R. Group will commission a 112 thou. t grain storage in Sumy region. This season, the first phase of the elevator will be launched with the capacity of 28 thou. t. The elevator complex will store not only the company's grain but also products from local farmers. In its first season, the facility will accept wheat, barley, corn, soybeans and sunflower.
A.G.R. The Group initiated the construction of the elevator in 2019. The place wasn't chosen by chance. Firstly, the company lands are located nearby, and secondly, in the Northern region of Ukraine, there are not enough elevators to satisfy the needs of local farmers in grain storage. Therefore, the location of the A.G.R. Group's grain elevator complex has not only technical advantages but also logistical ones.
A.G.R. Group chose the Swedish company, Tornum, as the main elevator equipment supplier.
In the future, Misak Khidiryan's A.G.R. Group plans the capacity increase of the grain elevator in Seredyna-Buda (Sumy region), construction of a network of grain storage facilities in several regions of Ukraine.
Previously reported that A.G.R. Group completed the spring sowing campaign 2020 on an area of 28.8 thou. ha.
