A batch of trucks arrived in Poland from Ukraine by rail
“Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the arrival of a batch of trucks from Ukraine by rail to Poland.
“A batch of trucks has arrived in Poland by rail. The Ukrainian and Polish parties have agreed on all issues related to transportation and customs and border procedures. The trucks will then proceed to their destination by road,” Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.
Subsequent shipments are planned to be made regular and more modernized platforms will be used in transportation.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrzaliznytsia formed the first test train with Ukrainian trucks, which their owners are trying to return to Ukraine in this way amid the blockade of border crossing points by Polish protesters.
The container train will run on the route Sknyliv (Ukraine) – Slavków (Poland).
“To order the transportation of a truck by a container train from Ukraine, you need to contact the Liski Transport Service Center branch of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, and in the opposite direction – UZ Cargo Poland,” the company reminded.
