55 million tons of cargo were exported through the deep-sea ports of Ukraine
During the 10 months of operation of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor, a record amount of cargo was transported — 55 million tons of cargo.
This was reported by the Ministry of Reconstruction.
During the entire period of operation of the sea corridor, 1,954 ships were loaded in the deep-sea ports of Ukraine, 37.4 million tons of agricultural products were exported to 45 countries.
“The constant increase in the volume of transportation shows the effectiveness of the functioning of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor, which Ukraine opened ten months ago on its own, exclusively with the assistance of the United Defense Forces,” the ministry noted.
Currently, 68 ships are waiting to enter the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny, exporting almost 2 million tons of cargo.
