3 vessels arrive in Odesa for Ukrainian cargo in one day
On October 10, three ships that arrived with Ukrainian cargo successfully reached the ports of Greater Odesa. This was reported by Andriy Klymenko, project manager at the Black Sea Institute for Strategic Studies.
He noted that these are the following vessels:
- IMPERATOR, IMO 9367906, deadweight 18,981 tons, flag of the Marshall Islands, shipowner Greece.
- WU YANG GLORY, IMO 9389825, 75,500 dwt, flag of Liberia, owned by Hong Kong, China.
- FALCONA, IMO 8891376, deadweight 2,151 dwt, flag of Cameroon, owned by Ukraine.
Thus, since September 16, 20 vessels with a total deadweight of 668,879 tons have arrived at the ports of Greater Odesa via the Ukrainian grain corridor.
As previously reported, three Black Sea ports of Ukraine have resumed accepting grain exports despite Russia’s threats to shell vessels heading to Ukrainian ports. The new corridor is protected by minefields. The route runs along the coast to the waters of Romania and Bulgaria, which are NATO countries. Previously, the grain corridor went directly across the sea to Istanbul, where a joint commission of UN, Turkish and Russian representatives inspected ships delivering Ukrainian grain.
