82% of the projected area has been sown in Ukraine

As of October 28, 2025, Ukrainian farmers sowed 5.349 mln ha of winter crops. This is 82.0% of the projected area.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 3,858.1 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 382.2 thsd has;
- winter rye – 63.2 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops sowing are Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions.
Poltava, Ternopil and Chernihiv regions have already completed sowing.
1.05 mln ha of winter rapeseed have been sown. Most of all – in Vinnytsia, Odesa and Khmelnytsky regions. Farmers in 14 regions have completed sowing winter rapeseed.
