26.3 million tons of agricultural products left Ukraine since the beginning of the war

Since the beginning of the war, for 8 months, the volume of supplies of grain, legumes, oil crops and their processing products has amounted to 26.3 million tons, of which 10.3 million tons are corn and 5.4 million tons are wheat, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and of food of Ukraine.

In October, the total volume of shipments of agricultural products by all routes amounted to 6.9 million tons. Indicators of shipments of wheat and corn kept the same volumes as last month. Almost 2 million tons of wheat crossed the Ukrainian border, 300,000 more tons of corn – 2.3 million tons.

The third position in the volume of deliveries remains for rapeseed, however, over the past month it was exported almost 100 thousand tons less than in September – 778 thousand tons. Shipments of sunflower oil also went down – 433,000 tons against September’s 567,000 tons. On the other hand, the volume of exported meal increased by 66,000 tons compared to last month and amounted to 457,200 tons.

The quantity of barley supplies is almost unchanged – 383 thousand tons, the difference between September and October is only 14 thousand tons. But the October volume of sunflower seeds is almost 90 thousand tons higher than the September volume – 290.4 thousand tons.

Indicators of soybean oil deliveries are also unchanged, in October, as in September, more than 25 thousand tons of it crossed the Ukrainian border. The volume of soybeans decreased by 10,000 tons last month: 230,000 tons against September’s 240,000 tons.

The general pattern of shipments for October in percentages is as follows: 33.6% is planted with corn, 28.71% – wheat, 11.28% – rapeseed, 4.21% – sunflower seeds, 6.28% – sunflower oil, 6.63% – meal, barley – 5.56%, soybeans – 3.34%, soybean oil – 0.38%.

The total volume of shipments for 8 months in terms of crops: 10.3 million tons – corn (39.09%); 5.4 million tons – wheat (20.62%); 2.4 million tons – rapeseed (9.01%); 2.3 million tons – sunflower oil (8.85%); 2 million tons – sunflower seeds (7.63%); 1.5 million tons – meal (5.85%); 1.3 million tons – barley (4.67%); 972 thousand tons – soybeans (3.70%), 151 thousand tons – soybean oil (0.58%).
