2024/2025 Argentina Soybean Estimate Unchanged at 48.5 mt

The 2024/2025 Argentina soybean estimate was left unchanged this week at 48.5 million tons with a neutral bias.

The soybeans in Argentina are 80.7% harvested, which represents an advance of 6.4% for the week. The early planted soybeans are 86% harvested with the slowest harvest pace in northern Buenos Aires province due to the recent heavy rains.

The nationwide soybean yield is estimated at 3,090 kg/ha (46.0 bu/ac). The yields range from a low of 1,200 kg/ha in northeastern Argentina (17.8 bu/ac) to a high of 3,740 kg/ha in the northern core region (55.7 bu/ac).
