16.6 million tons of grain of the new crop were threshed in Ukraine

Farmers of all regions of Ukraine threshed 16 million 574 thousand tons of new grain crop. Harvesting of early grains and pulses crops as of the beginning of August was carried out on an area of 3,782 thousand hectares with a yield of 44.0 t/ha, in particular:

2,698 thousand hectares of wheat were threshed (yield – 46.4 tons/ha), 12,513 thousand tons were threshed;
939,000 ha of barley were threshed (yield – 40 tons/ha), 3,755,000 tons were threshed;
125.3 thousand hectares of peas were threshed (yield – 24.5 tons/ha), 306.4 thousand tons were threshed.
Agricultural producers of Mykolaiv region remain the leaders in the harvesting of grain crops, they threshed 82% of the area, the largest threshing in Odesa region – more than 2 million tons.

Farmers of 9 regions have finished harvesting peas.

Agricultural producers of Dnipropetrovsk region have started harvesting buckwheat.

Harvesting of winter rape continues, which has been threshed on an area of 1182.3 thousand hectares, 3319.8 thousand tons of seeds have been threshed with a yield of 28.1 tons/ha.
