Grain exports from russia to Latvia increased by 39.8 percent in January-March
Russian grain exports to Latvia in January-March increased by 39.8 percent to 158,300 tons, LSM reported, citing data from the Republic’s State Revenue Service (Valsts ieņēmumu dienests, VID).
“In the first quarter of this year, 158,325 tons of grain were imported from Russia to Latvia, which is 39.8 percent more than in the first quarter of 2023 (113,234 tons),” the report said.
According to VID, imports of Russian corn to Latvia increased by 26.5 percent, rye – by 70.6 percent.
