Ukraine. Soil moisture and warm weather created favorable conditions for crop yield formation

Weather conditions. Abnormally warm weather with precipitation of varying intensities was seen on June 21-30.
Moisture supply. Precipitation occurred in the form of downpours with thunderstorms, unevenly distributed over the country.
Crop condition. Soil moisture accumulated over June and sufficiently warm weather created favorable conditions for crop yield formation. In view of current weather developments, individual farms in the southern and central regions have already begun harvesting winter wheat, winter rape and early-season varieties of spring barley, UkrAgroConsult reports.
