Wheat yield in Kyrgyzstan 56% higher than in 2023
Wheat yield is 56% higher in Kyrgyzstan than in 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
Wheat was harvested from 73,200 hectares, which is 30.4% of all wheat fields. The average wheat yield made 31.3 centners from a hectare, which is by 55.7% more than last year.
Barley was harvested from 79,200 hectares, which is 32.8% of all barley fields. The average barley yield made 27.2 centners from a hectare, twice more than last year.
The average yield of cereals made 29.2 centners from a hectare, which is 2.3 times more than last year.
