Wheat exports from Ukraine exceeded 1.5 mln tons
As of August 5, in 2024/2025 MY Ukraine exported 3 mln 675 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 098 thsd tonnes or 42% more than last year, according to the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 1 mln 517 thsd tonnes, which is 540 thsd tonnes or 55% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 533 thousand tons of barley and 0.3 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 1 mln 609 thsd tonnes, which is 343 thsd tonnes or almost 27% more than last year.
In addition, 4.9 thou tons of flour (or 6.5 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 6.9 thou tons or more than half as much as last year.
