Wheat exports from Kazakhstan hit a 12-year high
Kazakhstan exported 5.42 MMT of wheat in MY 2018/19 that is comparable with 2017/18 exports (5.4 MMT), up 27% from the five-year average of 4.3 MMT and the highest from MY 2007/08, reports UkrAgroConsult.
UkrAgroConsult reduced its forecast for Kazakh wheat exports in MY 2019/20 to a four season low.
The range of wheat export destinations did not change substantially in MY 2018/19 (the key export markets are in close proximity to Kazakhstan, except for the EU and Vietnam).
