Uzbekistan produced 6.1 mln tons of grain in six months
In Uzbekistan, 6.1 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were harvested in the first half of 2025, the National Statistics Committee reported.
The largest harvest was collected in the Fergana region – 776.6 thousand tons. In second place is the Surkhandarya region with 691 thousand tons, followed by the Kashkadarya region – 635.5 thousand tons.
The lowest indicator was in the Syrdarya (394.2 thousand tons) and Navoi regions (212.6 thousand tons), as well as Karakalpakstan – 137.6 thousand tons.
The Samarkand region produced 549.5 thousand tons of grain in the first half of the year, Bukhara – 464.2 thousand tons and Tashkent – 447 thousand tons.
