USDA lifted its forecast for Black Sea grain exports by 1.3 MMT

In the USDA’s February report, the majority of estimates for Black Sea 2019/20 grain production and exports remained unchanged from January’s forecast. The changes concerned the following positions:

The forecast for corn production in Ukraine was raised (+300 KMT),

The forecast for corn exports from Ukraine was increased by 500 KMT,

The forecast for wheat exports from Kazakhstan was increased by 800 KMT.

Overall, the forecast for Black Sea grain production was lifted by 0.2% (to 198.6 MMT), and the export estimate grew by 1.2% (to 109.7 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.
