USDA: Black Sea oilseed crop estimates adjusted insignificantly
In the June report, the USDA raised its forecast for Black Sea oilseed production in MY 2020/21 to 44.2 MMT (a 100 KMT increase in the Ukraine rapeseed crop):
– Sunseed – 30.573 MMT;
– Soybeans – 7.417 MMT;
– Rapeseed – 6.212 MMT (+0.1 MMT).
In MY 2021/22. the oilseed crop in the Black Sea region is to rise by 50 KMT due to a rapessed crop adjustment for Ukraine – 49.357 MMT:
– Sunseed – 34.850 MMT;
– Soybeans – 8.210 MMT;
– Rapeseed – 6.297 MMT (+0.05 MMT), UkrAgroConsult reports.
