USDA increased the estimate of rapeseed exports from Ukraine in the current season to 3.1 mln tons
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) increased the forecasts of production and exports of sunflower and some oilseeds from Ukraine in 2022/23 MY.
This is evidenced by the report of the agency for March.
Thus, the experts increased the exports of sunflower oil to 3.95 mln tonnes (+100 thsd tonnes) and sunflower meal to 3.3 mln tonnes (+100 thsd tonnes), while the exports of sunflower seeds remained at the level of February forecast – 2.65 mln tonnes.
In addition, the estimates of sunflower oil production in the current season increased to 4.386 mln tonnes (+86 thsd tonnes), and sunflower meal – to 4.213 mln tonnes (+83 thsd tonnes).
At the same time, the experts increased the estimates of rapeseed exports in the current season to 3.1 mln tonnes (+250 thsd tonnes) and soybean exports to 2.1 mln tonnes (+300 thsd tonnes).
