USDA: Forecast for the Black Sea oilseed crop cut by 2.4 MMT
In the August USDA report, the 2020/21 oilseed crop estimates for Black Sea countries were cut to 49.28 MMT from 51.675 MMT forecast a month earlier:
- sunseed – 35.83 MMT (-0.3 MMT);
- soybeans – 8.01 MMT (-0.4 MMT);
- rapeseed – 5.44 MMT (-1.7 MMT).
As noted previously, weather was the key factor contributing to the reduction of the crop estimates, UkrAgroConsult reports.
