US pork exports to the Caribbean rise in January – USMEF

US pork exports to the Caribbean continued to grow in January, following record-setting shipments in 2024, according to data released by USDA and compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF).
Export volumes increased by 3% year-on-year, reaching 2,757 metric tonnes, while the value of shipments rose by 18% to US$24.6 million.
The increase was driven by strong demand from several key destinations, including the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, the Netherlands Antilles, and Turks and Caicos.
The latest figures highlight the region’s growing importance as a market for US pork products.
