UN Food Program approves three-year plan for Ukraine worth $2.1 billion
The Executive Board of the UN World Food Program has approved an interim strategic plan for Ukraine for 2025-2027 with a total budget of $2.1 billion.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram.
“The plan provides for the provision of humanitarian assistance, support for the civilian population, continuation of the demining process and support for Ukraine’s export potential in supplying agricultural products to international markets,” Shmyhal wrote.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv. The event will focus on strategic directions for the agricultural sector through 2030, including investments, energy independence, processing, and exports of high-value products.
