Ukrzaliznytsia contracted UAH 746.2 mln of food for war-hit regions of Ukraine

Since Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) launched the food program for the regions suffering from severe food shortages as a result of Russia’s military aggression — #zalizna_dopomoga (#залізна_допомога) — it has already contracted 26,523 t of products worth UAH 746.2 mln.
As of today, more than 400 producers from all over the country have already joined the program.
“This program is already assisting many cities in Ukraine to prevent, and sometimes overcome, a food crisis. Especially in regions, for example, where persistent battles for our Independence continue,” UZ says in a statement.
