Ukrainian rapeseed exports in the first two months of this season down 21% y-o-y

834.4 KMT of rapeseed was exported in July-August 2021/22 (down 21% y-o-y, the least in four seasons). Export potential in MY 2021/22 will be slightly higher than for MY 2020/21 due to a forecast gain of almost 3% in both yield and output, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The EU reduced purchases (down 37% y-o-y), though remaining the top importer with a market share of 67%.
Pakistan for the first time imported rapeseed from Ukraine and became the second ranking importer with a market share of 16%.
Growth in exports was registered to India (+94%) and Bangladesh (+19%).
A slowdown in exports was fixed to the Netherlands (-69%), Germany (-34%) and the UK (-34%).
