Ukrainian grain exports approach 5 mln tons
As of August 12, in 2024/2025 MY Ukraine exported 4 mln 962 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 840 thsd tonnes or 59% more than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 2 mln 273 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 023 thsd tonnes or 81% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 739 thousand tons of barley and 0.3 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 1 mln 932 thsd tonnes, which is 451 thsd tonnes or almost 30.4% more than last year.
In addition, 6.3 thousand tons of flour (or 8.4 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 8.6 thousand tons or more than half as much as last year.
