Ukrainian food products entered one of the largest retail chains in Spain
One of the largest retail chains in Spain, Carrefour, has started selling Ukrainian food products.
According to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Spain, the launch of this project was made possible thanks to the agreements reached and practical interaction of the MadeinUkraine.es company.
“Currently, Ukrainian products are already presented in 21 stores of the Carrefour chain. The geography of coverage covers key regions of the country, in particular Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza and Almeria, which provides access to Ukrainian goods for a wide range of consumers in the largest consumer centers of Spain,” the message states.
The first products to appear on the shelves of the Spanish retailer were products of well-known Ukrainian brands “Veres” (canned food) and “Skviryanka” (cereals and groceries), which meet European quality standards and have stable export potential. In the near future, the range is planned to be expanded, as well as the launch of sales of products from other Ukrainian manufacturers and brands, the embassy added.
