Ukrainian fat-and-oil products are still a major contributor to foreign exchange receipts
In January-May 2020, the share of fat-and-oil products in total agricultural and food exports from Ukraine increased to 34.3%, UkrAgroConsult reports on the basis of UkrOliyaProm Association.
In total, USD 936.3 Ml worth of vegetable oils and meals were exported to the EU (35.6% of Ukraine’s agricultural exports to this destination).
Vegetable oil and meal exports to Asian countries reached USD 1.7 Bl (39% of Ukraine’s total agricultural exports to this region).
Growth is seen in refined sunflower oil shipments to the U.S., which reached USD 21.8 Ml (28.7% of total shipments).
