Ukrainian farmers have already sown 3.8 million hectares of wheat

Agricultural producers continue sowing of winter grain crops, of which 4.4 million hectares have been sown, or 94% ahead of the forecast.
- Wheat – 3.8 million hectares, or 94%.
- Barley – 613,000 hectares, or 91%, were sown.
- Rye – 79.2 thousand hectares, or 93%, were sown.
During the previous week, 61,000 hectares of winter crops were sown for grain.
Odesa, Poltava and Khmelnytskyi are the leaders in wheat sowing. Rye was sown the most in Rivne Oblast, and barley – in Odesa Oblast.
Agrarian farms in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kyiv, Poltava, Ternopil and Bukovyna have completed sowing of winter grain crops, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Lviv and Chernihiv regions are close to completion.
Agricultural producers of all regions of Ukraine completed the sowing of winter rapeseed, of which 999,000 hectares were sown, or 104% of the forecast.
